Little Hawiian Beauty

Birthday Fun

This past weekend we had lots of first birthday fun. We celebrated Ashley and Allison's 1st birthdays. One party was on Saturday and the other on Sunday. Addison enjoying seeing her girly friends and had a blast playing in Allison's bouncer. Addison (and mommy and daddy) did not plan for Addison to wear the same outfit as the birthday girl Allison, but they were sure cute both walking around.

Baby Teeth Please Come In!

Baby teeth please come in!! Addison has two teeth coming in on the top next to her front two teeth. They are just starting to break through. They are very slow and painful to make their appearance. I feel so bad for her because I can tell that they are bothering her and there isn't much I can do. I have been giving her teething tablets, but not sure if they are working or not. She has been a Mommy's girl and will not leave my side. Poor little thing...hope they come soon.

Happy Mother's Day

I got to enjoy my first Mother's Day this last weekend. We went to church, where Addison did not want to sit still or stay quiet. Her and I spent part of the time in the back of the church. My wonderful husband made my mom and I banana waffles and we enjoyed the day hanging out. In the afternnon Addy, grandma and I took a walk over to the park and then home to enjoy a nice dinner. It was a great first mother's day! I could not be more blessed to have a wonderful mother as well as a special daughter to share it with.

Updates!

Addison is growing more and more everyday and becoming quite the little lady, or should I say princess. She is very strong willed and persistent when it comes to getting what she wants. This always makes things so much fun especially when we try not to give into her all the time. She is still taking a few walking steps at a time, but is most comfortable crawling. Her new interest is the toilet. She tries to open the lid and put her hands inside. Luckily, we have caught her quick enough to prevent this from happening. This past weekend we celebrating K's 29th b-day. He is getting so old. At least I will always be younger than him. Guess next year we will have to do a big celebration. Addison loves her daddy and spending time with him. Her favorite thing to do is hang out in the backpack while K mows the lawn. Too bad I have never seen this because I am usually at work when this is occurring. :).

Our back room remodel project is coming along. K has been working extra hard. It doesn't help that everyday we seem to come up with some new ideas and change things, thus making more work. I try to help him out as much as I can, but I usually have the little one who wants to either be held or get into everything.

Addison has also been teething and it has made her a mommy's girl. She does not want to be put down and has to be at my side all the time. This makes it so much fun to get anything done. Oh well, my little baby is more important than anything. Here are some recent pictures from the last couple of weeks!

Our little Flower Girl!

H

WALKING!

Addison is now officially able to walk across the room. It has been very exciting watching her learn this new skill. She has not really been wanting to walk because she can crawl and get places very quickly. Little does she know that once she is fully walking that she will be able to run. She is so proud of herself too! All I can say is "here comes trouble!"

My Little Princess

My little princess is growing up so quickly. I can't believe that she is going to be 1 year old in about a month. And wow what a personality she has! She will yell and scream "na na na" for no and say "ma ma" and "da da" along with "ba" and all other sorts of combinations. No matter what room we are in, she wants to be there too. Her favorite room is the bathroom trying to unroll the toilet paper or lift the toilet seat down and slam it down. The other day she lifted her toy box and dropped it on her toe. Her toe has been purple since, but doing much better. Most days, we enjoy going for runs in the morning (or at least attempt to enjoy, Addison would like to not always be in her jogging stroller) as well as play outside and go for bike rides along with trips to the park. Addison also has been enjoying helping her daddy with the remodel in the back room and taking an interest in wanting everything that we are eating or drinking. In the below picture she is "super baby" as daddy called her with her cape that she wore around all day. Also, is Addy looking like a little princess, just as she is.
