Working Mommy

Well I am a working mommy in full force. This was the first full week I worked after increasing from 2 days to 4 days a week. I am still trying to build my caseload and things have actually been a little slow, but I am working through. It has actually made me feel like a more purposeful person. In a way it is easier to become motivated to get things complete and stay motivated because there is only a limited about of time available. Addy spent some time at the babysitter this week and had a blast spending time and playing with her new friend R. R is the same age as Addy and the girls seem to get along well. They imitate each other which is pretty funny to watch. I wish I only had a camera to watch them all day. C gives me all the reports though and we are very blessed to have found them. I hope that things continue to go smoothly and work out.

K also had his share of experiences with Addy this week. Mr. Mom was home the beginning of the week and Addy kept him busy. She always wants to show you something and will take your hand, lead to the kitchen, pictures to look at, outside etc and show what she is interested in. She is a great "helper". This morning when I was trying to get ready she brought me the empty laundry basket (I left it with clean folded clothes). My little "helper"!

We hope everyone is doing well. We have a busy and eventful couple of months coming up, but are excited to spend lots of time with friends and family.

Addy's First Haircut

Addy had her first haircut the other day. Although her hair wasn't super long, it was just out of control. If you have ever seen her hair when I don't have the opportunity to put it up or a bow in it, it is crazy. Mr. Roy took on the challenge and did a fantastic job. Here are some pictures from our experience.

Boots

Summer has come and gone very quickly and what fun it has been! Fall is here and we have many exciting things up and coming. Addy continues to make us laugh daily. When she wants something and you are not paying attention to her, she will roar at you like a lion. She also is shaking her head yes and no in response to questions and is pretty accurate most of the time. She is not a baby anymore and has a mind of her own. Her toodler-hood is in full swing. Trouble, trouble, trouble. Whatever she can find to get into, she is there and making a mess. When ever we get ready to go somewhere and we tell her to put her shoes on, she will go and grab her boots. Of course they are too big for her and are for her Halloween Costume, but she will proudly parade around the house.
