Happy Belated Valentines Day!

Clap Clap Clap!

Life is exciting around here...Addison is clapping her hands. When she gets excited she will smile and start clapping her hands. She will also crawl a few feet, stop, sit down, look up, and clap her hands. It is seriously the cutest thing ever. She is also a pro at giving "hi-fives". Here she is practicing her clapping, while exploring grass for the first time on my birthday.

Mammoth

A few weeks ago, Addison had her first trip to the snow. We had a fantastic weekend in Mammoth with Godparents, Maria and Steve and their 3 kids along with Grandma Ono. There was lots of snow and it snowed just everyday. Addison did not like putting on all the warm snow gear, but once she was able to explore the snow with her hands she did not want to stop eating it. We had to take her away from it because we did not want her hands to get frostbitten. K and I were able to ski for a half day which was a lot of fun. I have not had the opportunity to ski for about 3 or 4 years so it was a real treat. We can't wait till we can go back again soon!

UPDATES!

We are still alive. 2010 has gotten off to a an incredibly busy and bumpy start. We started out the year passing a cold back and forth and all around. Couldn't quite shake it for over 3 weeks. We are all healthy now (knock on wood)! I have continued to work as well as attend classes for my masters. I am hoping to be done by June. K has been working hard too and we are still trying to find the balance of both of us working and caring for little Miss Addison. Starting in March, I am going to be reducing by hours for work in order to be home more and give more time to work on school work.

Lots has also been happening since the beginning of the year. Addison is full on crawling everywhere. It is simply amazing how quick she is all over the house. Now that she is mobile, there is no stopping her and her curiosity and exploration expands more and more each day. She wants to know what is happening every moment and is not afraid to go and explore new things. We definitely have to watch her every second. Addison has also expanded her rupture of foods. I continue to make her baby food from fresh fruits and veggies and this week she has started eating chicken. She has also just been introduced to Cheerios and puffs which she loves because she can feed them to herself. I also give her peas, which she feeds herself too. Amazingly she will feed herself peas, but when I try to feed them to her pureed, she wants nothing to do with them.

Addison's new favorite places are the dishwasher an refrigerator. She loves to try and crawl inside and grab anything she can get her little hands on. She is full of personality at all times and just as lovable as can be. Addison can also be very vocal at times too, adding so much more fun to the Corcoran household!
