Addy Turns ONE!!

Ou Little Addison turned 1 year old on June 9th! The year has passed way too quickly. We have celebrated all month long by making the happy bithday sond Addison's favorite song. On June 12th we had a big celebration of a garden party at our house with about 50 people. Thank you to all that was able to attend and share in our memories and love of Addison's celebration. Addy was the little socialite of the party and walked all around "socializing" with everyone. She loved her bouncer and had so much fun eating her first cake. It was surely a special day! The Helper

Addison continues to grow so quickly and her personality is incredable. She also tries to be the biggest helper too! She gets into every drawer or cabinet that she can, loves to empty the dishes out of the dishwasher, unrolls the toliet paper, opens and closes doors, emptys the trash, unplugs any cords that are plugged in, helps to pick the flowers outside, eats the bark in the yard, throws everything on the floor and unpacks the groceries. The other day she managed to find the grapes from the grocery bag and procede to eat them all on her own. She has also become a great walker. She walks around the house with one hand up in the air. This must be the way that she balances.

Addison's receptive understanding has also continued to blossom. The other night I told her "let's go take a bath" and she immediately diasppeared and raced into the bathroom and stood by the tub. She also has a very good sense of humor and will laugh intentionaly to get your attention and wait for you to laugh back. Her favorite her thing to do is carry her blankie around the house. She will carry it up in the air to try not to drag it on the floor. It is just too cute!

K and I have continued to work on the back room's remodeling project. We are getting very close to completing the big parts. Our goal is to have it fnctional by Addison's birthday party in a week. We will see exactly how that goes. Speaking of birthday parties, I can't beleive that my little girl is going to be 1! It was just yesterday that she was just hanging out in her bouncer on the table and now she is all over the place and taken over our house....literally.
